Quality Professional Development Starts at the LAB-AIDS Institute
Science and STEM educators have come to trust LAB-AIDS as a source for innovative, hands-on kits and
inquiry-based, core science and STEM curricula. We offer a complete line of high quality professional development,
research & evaluation, and curriculum development services.
At the LAB-AIDS Institute, we work
side-by-side with STEM teachers, helping them to acquire new knowledge. We work together to enhance their teaching
skills - whether they’re veteran teachers, new to the profession, or somewhere in between. We’ll help teachers stay
a step ahead of the latest trends, ensuring that they remain on the cutting edge of the newest innovations in STEM
education. We can also help administrators monitor and evaluate their science/ STEM programs.
Research
suggests that investing in the professional development of teachers can pay huge dividends in terms of classroom
performance and individual student achievement. Our clients include a diverse array of school districts and

"LAB-AIDS has proven to be a valuable and skilled partner in this
venture – and has produced a high school chemistry program we feel
has no equal. A Natural Approach to Chemistry has eliminated the
need for the traditional and hugely expensive computer lab, it successfully integrates text-based chemistry content and concepts with appropriate labs and with a new, ingenious micro-scale computer interactive analytical device (the LAB-MASTER). LAB-AIDS has developed professional development opportunities that work for teachers.
A Natural Approach to Chemistry is an integral and significant component of Rhode Island’s STEM initiative called ‘Physics First Rhode Island’, (launched with a grant from the National Governors Association) which after 3 years has grown to include 26% of the high school students in the state."
